Sex discrimination law to change in October

The Government has announced that the draft Employment Equality (Sex Discrimination) Regulations 2005 will come into force on 1 October. The Regulations expand the definition of sexual harassment and now cover one-off episodes as well as repeated incidences of harassment. They apply to the harassment of both men and women, and update the UK’s existing sex discrimination legislation, which dates back to 1986.Read about the changes at:
