An EXPORT Opportunity for SIBA members
The British Beer and Pub Association is offering companies the opportunity to exhibit their bottled beer on a British Beer Exports stand at the 72nd National Beer Wholesalers Association convention and trade show which is being held at Caesar’s Palace, Las Vegas in September 2009. This is the most important beer trade show in the USA.
Companies not already represented at the show will have the opportunity to provide samples of their beer and meet potential importers etc. on this stand. We will also be organising educational tasting sessions and will consider contributing beer for the opening reception.
They have been successful in attracting funding from UKTI which will cover most of the costs associated with the stand, generic promotional material and registration for one exhibitor per company. Companies[1] will be expected to pay for:-
• their own travel and accommodation expenses[2];
• a proportion of any stand costs which exceed the grant;
• a proportion of transport and duty charges;
• registration for additional delegates; and
We will ensure that costs are kept to a minimum.
The Association will be commissioning a joint OMIS (Overseas Market Introduction Service) Report for all new to market companies. This will provide essential market information and identify the most relevant people for you to meet at the show. The total cost of this is in the region of £2000 which will be split equally between participants (estimated cost per company approximately £250).
