| Batemans Brewery, the Lincolnshire based brewer and retailer, is strengthening its sales team with two new appointments and one internal promotion. John Glover has been appointed as Free Trade Sales Area Manager for the East Midlands region, David Archibald joins as Sales Representative supporting the National Sales Team and Lee Gunton has been promoted to the role of Sales Development Manager.
John Glover has a wealth of experience having previously worked with Bass and Marston’s and will report directly to Andrew Reed, Batemans Sales Director. David Archibald will be reporting into Batemans National Account Manager, Rob Eastwood. David’s role will be to develop wholesalers and national pub companies accounts in the East Anglia region. In addition to the new appointments, Lee Gunton who has worked for three years as Sales Representative has been promoted to the role of Sales Development Manager. His new role will continue his work with key wholesalers and pub groups, but he will also now have the opportunity to develop and grow new business in areas of the country where Batemans has the greatest potential. One of these key areas is developing sales in the high street Managed House Groups. Andrew Reed, Batemans Sales Director says: “Despite tough trading conditions, we needed to strengthen our free trade and national accounts team as I’m delighted to say demand for our range of cask ales continue to grow. I am confident that both John and David will be great assets to the Batemans team.”
