Everards Mission Enjoyable II: The Sequel

29 May 2008 at 12:53
Following on from the success of the Mission Enjoyable initiative last year, Everards is recruiting more special agents to take part in the scheme to try out and rate the pubs across its tenanted estate.
The scheme will invite pub-goers to sign-up on the Everards website where they will be assigned a pub in their local area to visit. The ‘agents’ will then rate the pub based on quality of the food, drink and overall service. This information will go towards the pub’s score as part of the Everards tenants’ reward scheme, as well as providing valuable feedback for the licensees.
The Leicestershire brewery piloted the scheme last year and due to positive results is rolling it out again this year.
David Harrison, operations director – tenanted trade for Everards, said: “The information we receive will be invaluable for our business, as it will allow us to make any changes to ensure our customers have the best possible pub experience. It will be interesting to see how the results compare to last year.”
Everards’ is inviting everyone who wants to sign up to Mission Enjoyable or would like more information to visit www.everards.co.uk.
Erika Hardy, Everards marketing manager, explained: “We are sending our selected special agents into the field on a highly secretive mission, for a second year. This mission is far from impossible and should be a very enjoyable experience for those who sign up to take part.
“Once their mission is complete, agents should collect a receipt or other proof of purchase. They then need to complete a feedback form online and will receive either £10 or £15 depending on whether they visit a drinks only or a food pub. This will be paid in capital bonds vouchers or alternatively agents can earn an additional £5 on top of their payment if they choose to have vouchers to redeem at the brewery shop.”
Everards Brewery has a pub estate of 166 houses around the Midlands, all of which are run under the Everards banner as individual businesses by the licensees. The pubs vary widely from city centre venues to traditional village pubs.
