Mum’s must be nominated to be ‘Mum of the Year’ and the mum judged most deserving could win a ‘chill out’ spa day at Ragdale Hall, the luxurious health spa in Leicestershire, a family meal up to £150 in an Everards pub and a photo session for the whole family with a canvas print. The winner, who will be chosen by a panel of judges, including Serena Richards, sister of Everards chairman, Richard Everard, will be announced on 29th February.

Everards are looking for a Mum who is admired, who inspires or makes other people happy. Anyone can nominate someone they think deserves the prize, whether it is their own mother, a courageous or inspirational friend or someone who has stepped in the role of being a mum.

Erika Hardy, brands manager for Everards, said: “Entries are already coming in thick and fast and we know we’re going to have to make some tough decisions when choosing our winner. We’re looking for someone who is kind, thoughtful and really deserving of the prize.”

Entries must be in 200 words or less and must be entered via the Everards website on http://www.everards.co.uk/mothers_day/. Closing date for entries is 17th February.

Everards Brewery has a pub estate of 163 houses around the Midlands, all of which are run under the Everards banner as individual businesses by the licensees. The pubs vary widely from city centre venues to traditional village pubs.
