SIBA membership provides various resources for contacting our members.
- via the website
- within the regular Commercial Newsletter
- and you have access to member lists and the forum. The list of members is only available to other SIBA members.
All members are ratified at our Council Meetings and must adhere to the SIBA Handbook. The members can therefore be confident that anyone communicating through SIBA has been through this process.
As an associate member, you are also very welcome to attend the Regional Meetings. The dates are published in the events calendar on website and in newsletter.
The meetings allow you to have direct contact with other members
Our AGM and Conference every March provides the opportunity to attend with a trade stand or to network. Please click on the conference button at the top of this page to see details of the event.
We also have a quarterly journal. This offers a discount on advertising to SIBA members. You may also advertise as a non-member. Please contact Chris at cf@freerbutler-gds.co.uk for advertising rates.
As a member, there are other opportunities such as sponsoring a category at the Regional and National beer competitions. You can contact the regional heads of region to express interest in that.
The competitions are held throughout the year. The final is held every year at the National and the results are announced at conference.
We also have the Local Brewing Business Awards every October. All of the key figures and press for the industry are at our big events. You can have a look on www.siba.co.uk/awards.
The ‘join’ section shows more information on how to become a Supplier Associate Member.
After reading the SIBA Handbook and ticking the box, the application form and membership fee details will automatically load.
The membership fee also helps us to fight for and against legislation that affects the industry. While this applies member or not/brewer or not, without the support of our membership, we cannot do all of the work that we do.
