A BURNLEY brewer has bucked fears of a downturn in the pub trade by announcing record sales for the Christmas period.
Moorhouse’s Brewery saw volumes soar by 18 per cent and turnover by 20 per cent on 2007 with more than 1,330 barrels – 385,632 pints – being dispatched from the Moorhouse Street site.
Managing director David Grant said a range of factors were responsible for the surge in sales.
