Since wining its first award at the Sheffield Beer Festival in September 2005 Thornbridge has this week recorded its 76th with its Jaipur IPA being judged Beer of the Festival at last week’s Dover beer festival.
“Unbelievable success” says Thornbridge’s MD Jim Harrison after hearing the news of the brewery’s latest award. “We set out to make the best beer we could when the brewery was established and every award has provided great feedback that we are achieving what we aimed for”. “I am full of admiration for the brewing team at Thornbridge who bring great dedication, skill and knowledge to their work”
Thornbridge’s beers have won awards from Aberdeen to Exeter over the 4 years making it one the most successful breweries in the UK. A new brewery is planned to come on stream later this year which will enable even more people than ever to sample the award winning beers.
