And Chocolate Bitter Is Back For Easter

Batemans delicious one hundred per-cent chocolate pump clip is back for Easter. This heart-meltingly good chocolate brew was introduced for the first time in 2008 and is in homage to the brewer’s flagship ale XB. ‘Eggs-B’ melted the hearts of some of the toughest publicans last year, when customers couldn’t resist sampling the delicious brew. This dark, amber coloured bitter, with an ABV of 4.2%, is brewed using a combination of Maris Otter pale ale and chocolate malts .

Andrew Reed, National Sales Director, Batemans says: “Eggs-B certainly had a novelty value last year, but feedback was very positive both for the pump clips and the beer and we are already experiencing a substantial increase in demand. However, in case temptation gets the better of some publicans we’ll be sending out extra pump clips with orders.”
