APPLICATIONS are being taken for the role of Chief Reviewer of Real Ales for Lancashire.

The position has been created as part of the six-week Vintage Inns Festival of Award Winning Beers at The River Wyre pub, Poulton.

Business reporter and self-confessed lager drinker gives his thoughts on Burnley brewery Moorhouse’s five main beers.
