The judging for the International Beer Challenge 2009 is now complete. Over 30 expert judges from the international beer industry blind tasted 300 beers and bronze, silver and gold medals were awarded.
The highest scoring beers went on to be re-tasted at super-jury stage to find the best in each category and the overall IBC 2009 champion.
In addition, a separate panel of judges assessed the entrants into the design and packaging awards to seek out the best established, repackaged and new brands. The results of these and the category winners will be announced and awarded at a special trade and consumer event taking place at the Royal Society of Arts in London on 14th October.
