Batemans, the Lincolnshire based brewer and retailer, is launching a 5 litre (approximately 10 pints) ‘mini cask’ of its popular XB ale in time for Christmas.  A distinctive, well balanced bitter with an ABV of 3.7% which gives a refreshing dry bitterness with a delicious hoppy finish.  Consumers will now be able to dispense the beer at home – a guaranteed pick-me-up for visitors and family over the festive period.  The beer will have to settle for 24 hours and be drunk within 3 days of opening. Available from October 2009, the kegs are recyclable and can be disposed of along with other household waste once empty.

Batemans cask XB is part of the Brewery’s core range and available throughout the year within the  brewers own estate as well as through Independent Wholesalers and National Drinks Distributors.
