Redruth based Keltek Brewery has teamed up with Ilfracombe Brewery to produce the award winning Wizard Ales beer ‘Druid’s Fluid’ for regional Tesco stores.

Druid’s Fluid won top prize in Tesco’s South West drinks awards, winning the ultimate prize of a contract to supply Tesco stores across Cornwall and Devon.

In order to satisfy Tesco’s demand, Mike Garner – the owner of Ilfracombe Brewery – contacted Keltek, who were more than happy to contract brew and bottle on his behalf.

Richard Heath, the marketing coordinator of the Brewery, said “This is a great example of two companies who on the face of it should perhaps be competitors, teaming up and breaking into the market together.”

The beer is described as “A full bodied, darkish beer with rich fruit and bitter notes” and weighs in at 5.0% Alc./Vol.

Druid’s Fluid is currently available to buy in 14 Tesco stores across Devon and Cornwall.
