With the opening of the “Sheffield Tap” – the newly refurbished first class refreshment room at Sheffield Station the City has received an early Christmas present. The bar has opened to rave reviews being described by City council leader Paul Scriven “as an absolute gem for Sheffield”.
The Sheffield Tap bar, which features a range of Thornbridge Cask Ales and over 200 keg and bottled beers from across the world, is the result of two year’s hard work to overcome legal hurdles and to carry out extensive refurbishment.
The bar is proving extremely popular with over 5000 pints of cask ale being sold in the first week
