Publicans are invited to use PIRRS to help settle disputes
Licensees in dispute with landlords over rent can now use the industry’s low cost arbitration scheme.
The Pub Independent Rent Review Scheme (PIRRS) had been due to go live in September but after teething problems the launch was been put back until this week.
Neil Robertson, chief executive of BII, who originally raised the idea of the scheme, said the last couple of months have been spent improving terms and conditions and ensuring details of the experts available to help in disputes were on the PIRRS website.
