Nottingham’s Castle Rock Brewery has relaunched its SIBA champion Screech Owl strong India Pale Ale with a new pump clip design. Sheffield’s New Barrack Tavern, one of the country’s biggest Screech Owl stockists, was the venue.

Designed by Nick Pettit, creative director and his team at The Workroom, London, the new image highlights the beer’s strength with an imaginative take on an owl in flight.
Castle Rock’s Colin Wilde says increased brewing capacity means the ale is now available through national wholesale distributors. “The beer certainly flies off the bar and I am delighted the new pump clip captures this perfectly.”
Screech Owl which had a humble beginning as a supposed ‘one off’ in support of local wildlife trusts in October 2008, is the current national champion in the strong bitter category in the SIBA (Society of Independent Brewers) ranking.
