SIBA gears up for National Beer Competition

The Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA) will hold its annual National Beer Competition in Nottingham on 4 February.

Around 50 independent brewers will compete for the title of Supreme Champion beer award and a winner will be named in nine other categories.

The competition will showcase the winners of seven regional heats held during the last 10 months, comprising 56 draft and seven bottled finalist beers.

The 10 winning beers will be announced at SIBA’s National Conference in Stratford-on-Avon in March. The winners are guaranteed a place on the SIBA Champions Bar at the Great British Beer Festival in London in August.
