Small Beer in Lincoln are celebrating again as they have been awarded Cask Ale Wholesaler of the Year for a second year in a row by the National Drink Distributors.

At a recent event near Marble Arch in London, Tony Eastwood and his son Rob picked up the award from Greg Williams, Sales Director for Greene King.

Tony said “To be recognised once was fantastic but two years in a row shows that we must be doing something right. Our staff are really passionate about real ale and the range we offer and this is reward for all their hard work.”

Small Beer sells the nation’s favourite drink all over England, supplying many pub and CAMRA beer festivals.

Rob added, “Our sales of cask ale have grown again this year as people are really starting to enjoy drinking a craft brewed product and we are really proud to represent many local breweries on a national level. Long may it continue!”

The company is aiming to make it a hat-rick in 2010 as they aim to offer even more beers to their new and existing customers.
