Organisers of the national week-long celebration of pubs have unveiled suggested activities that pubs can stage each day — and revealed growing support for the event.
British Pub Week, from 30 October to 6 November, aims to encourage more people to visit pubs during the Halloween/Bonfire Night period.
The suggested week of activity is:
• Sat 30 Oct: Halloween/music night
• Sun 31 Oct: Halloween/Family day and Sunday roast
• Mon 1 Nov: Community day
• Tue 2 Nov: Pub games night
• Wed 3 Nov: Food-based event
• Thu 4 Nov: Quiz night
• Fri 5 Nov: Guy Fawkes/charity night/Real Ale festival
• Sat 6 Nov: Grand finale/Real Ale Festival
