Warwickshire’s Purity Brewing Co. has drafted in Richard Davies as its new Sales Manager.
Richard has been tasked with increasing sales of Purity’s award-winning ales, along with its range of imported beers, in the Midlands. His core areas of focus will be to grow and support the free trade, as well as bolster the brewery’s stockists within M&B, Punch Taverns and JD Wetherspoons.
The 35-year-old from Birmingham comes to Purity with an impressive sales background, including working for the likes of Coca Cola, Philips Electronics and Adnams, the Southwold-based brewer. Richard’s previous roles also included sales trainer for Philips and business relationship manager for Punch Taverns.
He said: “Purity is a successful and vibrant company so I’m really looking forward to getting stuck in and helping to grow the business, as well as build successful and long term relationships with new and existing clients.”
Paul Halsey, Purity MD said: “Rich will make a great addition to our team. He’s passionate about premium ales and is someone I can rely on to drive our sales. On the downside he is a Birmingham City fan, but I guess no one is perfect.”
