Keg & Cask Dispense
A free event to SIBA Members
Hawkshead Brewery, nr Windermere, Lake District

A programme aimed at the independent, craft brewer addressing the issues associated with keg dispense both in the UK and Scotland, as well as a refresher on cask dispense. You will also meet with a range of technical experts from the BFBi Membership in order to benefit your business.
Briefings will cover issues including;
Cask & Keg Racking & Washing – Andy Humphrey, microdat.co.uk
Fining in Readiness for Dispense – Kevin Mitchell
Cellar & Line Cooling – Curtis Paxman, Brewfitt Ltd
Cask & Keg Dispense / Facets of Scottish Dispense – Alistair McInnes, Centriflow Ltd
Cellar Management – Annabel Smith, Cask Marque
Following the briefings there will be tours of the Brewery.
The event is free of charge to SIBA Brewers and will include refreshments and lunch.
Space is limited and reservations will be made on a ‘first come, first served’ basis, maximum of 2 attendees per brewery.
Due to the location, we will be organising a Trade Quality visits to Kendal hostelries for those staying the night before. There are some low cost hotels in the area and also local B&B and guest houses. A number of people will be staying in the Premier Inn in Kendal Centre.
