Land of Hops and Glory – A Soil Association Trade Event for Organic Growers and Brewers

Join us in the Land of Hops and Glory where you can network, celebrate and be inspired as we explore the commercial, social and environment aspects of our organic brewing heritage.

Delegates will enjoy an afternoon and evening of learning, networking along with social event hosted by the Soil Association and Laverstoke Park. The event will include farm walks, talks, exhibition space, tasting opportunities and an evening BBQ – all with a focus on technical, commercial, marketing and political issues related to organic brewing and farming raw materials for organic brewers.
Speakers include Roger Protz, Dominic Lane (ex-Bray Leino), Greg Pilley (Stroud Brewery – SIBA member) as well as contributions from Robin Appel (SIBA member), Laverstoke Park Farm (SIBA member), The Space Creative and Soil Association.
This event is open to growers, brewers, suppliers or contractors to brewers, beer wholesalers, beer retailer, trade organisations and food/drink media. We anticipate a program with something for everyone.
Tickets for afternoon event and evening BBQ – £45/£35*, (*concessionary rates for producer members and Soil Association Licensees – please quote your licence number in the additional information box when purchasing).

If you are travelling by car, Laverstoke Park Farm is located 2 miles south of Overton on the B3051, or 2 miles north of A303- B3051 junction (Overton turn-off) on B3051. Please see map. There is also ample on-site parking.
If you are travelling by public transport Free event shuttle bus to and from National Rail at Basingstoke. Bus leaves Basingstoke rail at 12:15 and departs event at 20:45 (16 seats available- places on first come basis). If you would like to book a free place on the bus, please state so in the additional information box when purchasing.
There is a wide choice of accommodation in Basingstoke. Suggested local B&B’s include: Mallards B&B , The Old Rectory B&B
