Following successful negotiations with Punch Taverns, DBC has acquired a second pub to add to its growing estate. The Butchers Arms in Yeovil became available at the end of May and MD, Giles Smeath saw it as an ideal real ale outlet for DBC’s beers. Re-opening the pub in partnership with Punch at the beginning of June, DBC is working hard with The Butchers Arms’ new managers, Paul & Pippa, to establish the pub as ‘the’ real ale pub to visit in Yeovil. Maintaining a minimum selection of six real ales at any one time; the beers will be rotated on a regular basis and will include ales from across the UK as well as DBC’s own delicious brews.

In addition to real ale, The Butchers Arms will be providing regular live music and its next big event will be the beer festival over the bank holiday weekend in August. Come and see for yourself!
