Charles Faram & Co Ltd is pleased to announce the appointment of Gordon Tilley as CEO USA & Canada effective September 1, 2012. Gordon will be based in Oregon, USA and will work closely with Ian Isherwood to ensure all existing customers continue to receive a high standard of service & technical support and will build on the loyal customer base already in place in North America. Charles Faram & Co Ltd will continue to provide the full range of UK & European hops to customers in the USA and Canada shipped directly from our warehouses in the UK or from our warehouse location in Washington State, thanks to an on-going collaboration with our friends at Hops Direct LLC. Gordon and Ian look forward to meeting up with customers both old and new in the coming months.
Most recently Gordon held the position of Malt Sales Director for the Crisp Malting Group and prior to this Gordon lived in the USA and Canada for 17 years. His previous positions have included Director of Brewing and Supply Chain with Craft Brew Alliance/ Widmer Brothers Brewing, Vice President Operations QA and R&D with Great Western Malting and Canada Malting Company, Vice President Operations for Rahr Malting (Canada), Vice President Operations & R&D for Kettle Foods and before moving to North America in 1993 Gordon worked with Bass Brewers in the UK for 10 years.
Charles Faram and Co Ltd. has been established as factors and merchants of hops for over 100 years and today stock and sell the largest range of hop and hop products including whole leaf hops through to processed hops, such as pellets, extracts and oils. With over 90 different varieties of hops from England, Europe and around the World to choose from, it provides an artist’s palette of flavours to create every type and style of beer.
