For sixteen years the International Beer Challenge has rewarded and promoted excellent beers. Entries were received this year, from twenty six countries and judges included retailers, importers, publicans, brewers, writers and flavour analysts.
Oakham Ales were awarded gold medals for both its Citra and Bishops Farewell brands in the up to 5% A.B.V. category.
Citra was awarded the best ale in the category by the judges against the eight other gold medal winning ales.
