To mark the 20th anniversary of its popular music quiz, Everards pub The Three Nuns is inviting contest veterans to a one-off reunion challenge.
Taking place on Sunday 7 October from 9pm, 20 years on from the first quiz at the pub, the birthday clash will take the style of the original, with four rounds of music taken from across four decades. Organisers are hoping to see both new and familiar faces from across the years with a special appeal for anyone who attended the first quiz in 1992.
Three Nuns licensees Karen and Steve Wesson will be offering a one-off additional cash prize for the winners, as well as hosting the much-loved CD lucky dip. Food will also be provided to contestants who can look forward to a fun-filled evening.
Karen commented: “We wanted to do something special to celebrate the quiz’s longevity. Many of our customers have been doing the quiz for years, but as with anything, lifestyles change and people move away. We wanted to invite people who maybe hadn’t been to the quiz for a while or even better, those who attended the first quiz in 1992.
“It’s going to be a great evening and we’re hoping for a good crowd.”
The unique quiz is organised by the regulars who take it in turns to set the questions, ensuring that different songs make the play-list each week.
