and grow your business

The Best of Britain & Ireland is an exciting new show where visitors can explore the best of Britain and Ireland’s heritage, flavours, active, countryside, coast and luxury experiences in a unique, exciting and interactive format which will attract a key targeted audience and excellent media coverage. Organised by an award-winning events company, in partnership with VisitBritain and with the support of all the National Tourist Boards, Best of Britain & Ireland already has tremendous industry support and is set to be the centrepiece of the third annual British Tourism Week.

At the Show’s core will be a major focus on the wonderful array of food and drink from Britain and Ireland reflecting the resurgence in demand for quality products made by time-honoured methods. The appetite is growing for regional produce and with over 700 regional cheeses, 2000 varieties of apples, 350 varieties of potato and 125 species of fish and selfish, there’s plenty on offer. Best of Britain & Ireland really is a fantastic opportunity for you, a local producer to speak to 20,000+ ABC1 visitors eager to sample, be inspired, learn about the importance of buying regional produce and buy from you, allowing them to keep tasting a piece of the region even after the show has finished.

Best of Britain & Ireland will feature a dedicated flavours area where tasting sessions for real ale hosted by CAMRA, cheese tastings and other tastings of local produce will take place in various sessions throughout the day.

Campaign for Real Ale

Exhibitors will have the opportunity to be involved in these sessions, a great way to reach out to the visitor and promote your product! There will also be talks, interactive demonstrations and tastings with local produce and regional specialities. Participating local producers can show off the tastiest treats to carefully targeted visitors.

Food experiences are a key part of people’s holiday memories whether the freshest seafood, locally grown fruit and vegetables or a mouth-watering regional cheese they couldn’t get enough of. Food is often integral to a shared experience, a chosen destination and the delights of a region and it is easy to see why food tourism is now worth of £4billion per year across the four nations. And with ever-increasing emphasis on minimizing food miles there is now an unprecedented interest in food on your doorstep which is great news for local producers whether catering for their neighbours or visitors to the region!

There will also be four restaurants at the show, one representing each nation, England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. A chance for the visitor to taste the nation and recognize how fantastic food and drink from Britain and Ireland really is!

Reasons to be exhibit:

  • Showcase and sell your products in front of 20,000+ ABC1 visitors
