Titanic MD Formally Welcomes Joules To SIBA
Great news for local business Joule’s Brewery, as they are formally welcomed to the ‘Society of Independent Brewers’ SIBA, following a visit by Keith Bott, MD of Titanic Brewery last week.
The ‘new’ Joule’s Brewery was completed in 2010 and Steve Nuttall, MD of the Brewery comments “we are delighted that SIBA have accepted our membership and we are thrilled to a part of a society that promotes high quality brewing and is a united voice of smaller artisan brewers. SIBA has played a key role over the years in establishing ‘English Ale’ as a unique beer type all over the world and the re-introduction of truly local brands which we had lost. It is also a special pleasure to be welcomed by Keith, our closet local rival renowned for quality and to have the chance to show him around the Brewery.”
Keith Bott commented “I am delighted to welcome Joule’s to SIBA. The society is growing every year as we bring in like minded quality brewers, and Joule’s is very much a part of that. We have always had a good relationship with Joule’s anyway, so it will be great to see them a part of SIBA both locally & nationally.
Joule’s Brewery continues to focus on its expansion agenda, with plans to open a further two Tap Houses this summer, The Mere at Alsager and the Butchers Arms in Forsbrook, near Cheadle.
