Wadworth Pair Earn Licensed Qualification
Two of Wadworth’s Licensed Business Development Managers, Norman Taylor and Andrew Spriggs, have recently been awarded a nationally recognised qualification from the BIIAB (British Institute of Innkeepers Award Body).
The Level 4 Certificate in Multiple Licensed Premises Management represents a significant achievement involving months of hard work and dedication. The certificate is the first and only fully transferable qualification for those working in a business development role within licensed hospitality.
In order to earn the certificate, Norman and Andy underwent seven days of formal training over a six-month period delivered by Inn-Dispensible, run by Martin and Lynda Read. These training sessions were accompanied by unit pre-work and assessments covering subjects such as people and management skills, finance and business planning, and the roles and responsibilities of business development managers.
“This is a real achievement for Norman and Andy who have put in considerable effort to achieve this level of qualification,” said Marie Wood, Wadworth Training Manager. “The skills they have gained will help them deliver an even better service to the tenants they work with daily. Depending on course availability we aim to provide this excellent development opportunity to all our Licensee Business Development Managers.”
