Changes in Fyne Ales Sales Team
Rob Jenner Retires and Jamie Maitland Joins
After more years selling beer than we care to mention, the last seven of which have been with Fyne
Ales, Rob Jenner, Sales Director for Fyne Ales, has decided that it is time to retire.
As many people will be aware, Rob has always had another passion in his life, as well as beer, in the
form of Jaguars. Rob has been honoured to be offered the chance to take up the role of Chairman of
the Jaguar Enthusiasts Club. As he says, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity that needs his full
time focus to make a success of it.
Over the course of his career, which included working with Harviestoun and Orkney breweries, Rob
has got to know a great many people in the industry, and we are sure he will be widely missed.
Rob’s input to the development of Fyne Ales over the last years has been huge, and he bought a
wealth of contacts and industry knowledge to the business, which has been greatly appreciated by
the whole team. We will certainly miss him, and wish him the best of luck for the future.
Rob will be working through to the Scottish Real Ale Festival on the 11th July – as that seems like a
good opportunity to get him to buy us all a final pint.
At the same time Jamie Maitland has joined us from Oddbins as Sales Manager – West of Scotland,
responsible for all accounts to the west of Stirling. Jamie was with Oddbins for 15 years prior to
joining Fyne Ales and brings a lot of experience (and enthusiasm!) in selling quality beer to the role.
We will be making further plans for managing our accounts in the East of Scotland and North East of
England in the next weeks.
