Ossett Brewery winners at the annual Wakefield Business Awards
Ossett Brewery has recently been nominated in the Best small/medium sized business in the annual Wakefield Business Awards.
At the award ceremony at Cedar Court Hotel on Thursday 20th June Joint MD Mike Inman was delighted, if a little surprised, to accept the award and thank the hard work of all 250+ company employees who contribute to the company’s success. We were shortlisted with FDS Corporate Finance and Calder Security LTD. The panel of judges consisted of Wakefield Council chief executive Joanne Roney, managing partner of main sponsors Chadwick Lawrence Solicitors Jeremy Garside, and Danny Matharu of Hillrich and Yorkshire Business Conferences. Further details can be found in this week’s Wakefield Express.
Andy Pollard, Sales Manager for the brewery, has said
“To be recognised by our peers is a huge honour and this is another award everyone involved in the company should be proud of.
Particular thanks to Jason Costello from the Forget me not Trust (Joint MD Jamie Lawson’s chosen charity and the main beneficiary of the Brewery’s annual open day) who nominated Ossett Brewery for this award. Thanks for your continued support.”
