Microdat welcomes Martyn Hingley as Business Development Manager
Leeds based Microdat, the UK’s leading supplier of process and packaging equipment to the brewing, beverage and food industry, are pleased to announce that Martyn Hingley has been appointed as Business Development Manager.

With over 10 years experience in the brewing industry and BSc in Molecular Science Martyn brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the business. Martyn joins from Marston’s PLC where he started out working in the laboratories and most recently held the role as Account Manager selling beer, wines and spirits into free house pubs and restaurants.
Commenting on the new appointment, Microdat CEO Maitland Hyslop said, ‘Martyn brings a variety of skills to Microdat and Microdat’s customer base based on a solid understanding of the industry. We are delighted to have someone of his caliber covering the South and West Midlands for us.’
Microdat have seen sales sore in the past 18 months with indications that turnover will more than double in the next financial year. The company offer complete brewery solutions from design, software and project management though to manufacturing, installation and after sales spares, service and support. It is this offering that has seen them win major contracts from some the UK and Irelands major breweries. Clients include Wye Valley Brewery, C&C Group, Heiniken, Bulmers Hereford, Sharps Brewery, Timothy Taylors.
