Trooper Invades London
Robinsons Brewery in Stockport have announced that they will launch a London based billboard campaign for the first time in their 175 year existence.
This billboard advertising campaign will see ‘Eddie’, the unmistakable mascot of Iron Maiden and TROOPER ale, 10 feet tall on billboards across on the busy London commute. This week the 20ft x 10ft billboards will be erected around London and its outskirts, reaching across from St Albans, Hertfordshire to Crawley, Sussex.
Brand Manager for Robinsons Brewery, John Robinson said: “TROOPER has really opened up doors for Robinsons over the past 6 months since its launch. It has increased trade domestically and opened up brand new international export routes for the first time. The positive response has been phenomenal. The new billboards around London and the surrounding areas signify our continued growth in the south of England and our faith in the renaissance of real British ale led by TROOPER”
The move continues what has been one of the most successful launches of an English ale in recent years and signifies the first time in the history that Robinsons Brewery have launched advertising in London on such a scale.
The billboard campaign coincides with a new national supermarket listing which sees TROOPER become available in 267 Sainsbury’s stores nationwide. The listing joins Morrison’s supermarkets, making TROOPER more accessible than ever before, great news for loyal fans of Iron Maiden and real ale lovers alike.
