Beer Academy takes the beer message to Dubai.
Beer Academy Chief Examiner, Dr George Philliskirk, travelled to the United Arab Emirates to carry out a week’s training for the leading Middle East drinks distributor African + Eastern at their head office in Dubai.
George said “Seven members of their sales and marketing team underwent a total immersion in beer, taking the Beer Academy’s Foundation, Advanced and ‘How to judge beer’ courses in one very intensive week. And at the end of the week, I was delighted to be able to accredit the Middle East’s first three Beer Academy Sommeliers: Charles Humphries, Jasper Daly and Brent Henderson.

Therefore it is vital that our people and the front line Food and Beverage staff can talk about beer with authority as they guide our customers through our extensive beer list.
