A-wards and up-wards!
Eight Design Effectiveness Awards in three years
At the 2014 Design Effectiveness Awards, Leeds-based brand and
communications design group WPA Pinfold have picked up three Awards,
including a Gold for their work with Croots England – the hand-crafted leather
goods company from Malton, North Yorkshire.
There were also two silvers for campaigns with Kirkstall Brewery and National
Grid. Itʼs another successful tally for the design group, bringing their total to 8
awards in 3 years.
At the awards ceremony on Thursday 13th February at Londonʼs Tobacco Dock,
WPA Pinfold founder and managing director Myles Pinfold was keen to underline
that the awards were as much an accolade for their clients as for the design
team.
“Our business is always happy to pick up awards. But for us this is also a chance
to pay tribute to our long-term clients, their loyalty and support, and the trust we
have built up together. Their initiatives and innovations inspire us and give us
great clarity and direction.”
The Design Business Association judging panel was made up entirely of senior
marketers and brand owners such as Santander, Marks & Spencer and Nokia.
