Winter Glow Wins Gold At Camra's National Winter Ale Festival

Exe Valley Brewery is delighted to have been awarded Gold for it’s Winter Glow in the Old Ales / Strong Milds Category of the Champion Beer of Britain at the National Competition held in Derby yesterday (19th Feb) – http://www.camra.org.uk/article.php?group_id=12802
Winter Glow is a traditional old ale at 6% abv – a strong, dark and warming beer made with Devon Malt (from Tuckers in Newton Abbot), English hops and our own spring water.
Brewer and owner Guy Sheppard is delighted with the award ‘We always knew that Winter Glow is a winner, but it is wonderful to have that confirmed by experienced beer judges at a National level. A Gold award is superb and especially welcome now with 2014 being our 30th Anniversary year’
