Mark Harper MP – Forest MP visits family run Brewery
Mark Harper, MP for the Forest of Dean, recently visited Longhope based business, Hillside Brewery, to meet the team and tour the site.
The Brewery, run by the Williamson family, has recently been refurbished and sources local ingredients to produce a variety of different beers like Legless Cow and Severn Surge.
Alongside production and bottling facilities, the Brewery is making strides in attracting tourists to the area by offering enthusiasts the chance to make and personalise their own beer.
Hillside Brewery will also have one of its beers, Pinnacle, served in Parliament later this year.
Commenting on the visit, Mark Harper MP said:
“I enjoyed visiting Hillside Brewery and seeing for myself why the business has been successful so far and also hearing about their exciting plans for the future. This is another example of a family run business in my constituency that is thriving. I wish them the best of luck as they continue to develop.
I enjoyed my tour so much that I went back to their Open Day – I would certainly recommend that people pay the Brewery a visit and try some of their excellent beer for themselves!”
