Moorhouse's brews up sales surge
Burnley-based Moorhouse’s Brewery has entered the festive period in a buoyant spirit after reporting a sales surge of 8 per cent for a two-month period, during which turnover reached almost £1m.
Throughout September and October 2014 the company sold one million pints and had a turnover of £930,000.
A roll out of its Black Cat Reserve special across the Wetherspoons chain boosted sales during the period, which marked a “significant milestone” for the company.
