As you are aware, BA have agreed that we may showcase UK beers via UK Brewers Association members who are undertaking a collaborative brew with a UK brewer.
We currently have FourPure, Adnams, Westerhams, Ilkley Brewing, Crisp Malting and Rudgate interested in this.
I have secured a Beer Station within the BFBi area and also have a stand available for UK brewers to use as a base just the other side of the station. In fact, it is immediately behind the station so we can open the area up into one big stand.
The cost per brewer depends upon how many brewers take up the offer but cost is looking like a maximum of £1,000 per participant, plus VAT, plus our Management Fee of £450.
Grant funding for eligible companies is £2,000, which leaves you monies to use for freight of any marketing materials, literature at the show, further enhancements of the stand. You cannot use your funding to offset against travel and accommodation.
As noted within terms & conditions, you MUST be at the show and actively participate as an exhibitor to be eligible for the funding.
Brewers Association are also asking that the UK brewers become International Members – costs of this are here. I believe that you can offset this cost against grant as it is a necessary cost in order to exhibit your products but this needs to be confirmed.
