Purity Brewing Company comes to the Capital
Purity Brewing Company, which is now delivering its award-winning craft beers direct into London, will be attending Craft Beer Rising at The Old Truman Brewery on 19th – 22nd February.
Thanks to the continued growth of the business and the installation of a new brewery in 2014, the award-winning brewer has trebled its capacity, added three new beers into its range and has widened its geography to include the capital.
Craft Beer Rising is a prestigious event and will see a Purity bar stocked with its most recent additions, Longhorn IPA and Lawless Lager, as well as limited edition black beer, Gnarly.
Longhorn is an unfiltered rye IPA brewed with Maris Otter, Rye, Crystal Rye and Caramalts to create a copper warming colour and hopped with Northern Brewer, Chinook, Galaxy and Simcoe Hops to give both citrus and tropical fruit tones.
Lawless unfiltered lager is the brewery’s crisp hopped, 40 day, lagered beer which combines its crisp pilsner style lager with a blend of Hallertau Northern Brewer, Eldorado and Styrian Goldings hops to create a truly distinctive beer.
And Gnarly, with only a few hundred bottles left, is brewed with a variety of Maris Otter, Crystal Rye, Smoked and Black Malts, hopped with Northern Brewer, Cascade, Chinook and conditioned for six months in traditional oak whisky casks, before being corked in 750ml bottles.
Purity Brewing Company was founded by Paul Halsey and James Minkin in 2005 and was based on three very simple principles – brew great beer, without prejudice and without compromise. To ensure it maintains these principles, Purity bases the business on three basic pillars; Pure Quality, Pure Eco and Pure Ingredients.
Pure Quality encapsulates the brewery’s attention to detail in brewing the beer and ensuring customer service. Pure Eco reflects its commitment to the environment and its achievement in being industry leaders in water, energy and ingredient efficiencies and Pure Ingredients – which are just that – only the finest hops and malts are being used by Purity’s talented brew team.
Since its formation, Purity Brewing has become a household name in the world of craft beer, winning the prestigious International Beer Challenge Top 50 Beers in the World, Great Taste Awards along with numerous SIBA and CAMRA awards.
Purity’s London accounts are being handled by Matt Surridge, an experienced licencee with a passion for brewing and the capital. Matt will be present at the stand bearing Purity’s beers throughout the event.
On Purity’s move into London, Paul Halsey, MD says: “This is an incredibly exciting time for Purity Brewing Company. We have established ourselves nationally over the past few years, through hard work, commitment to the brand and by consistently brewing outstanding beer. We are blessed with an incredibly talented brew team and I am excited that the people of London are going to be able to drink our beers.
London is a huge market and can bring huge credibility to an already thriving brand. We are ready London, are you?”
