See what’s brewing with Purity ‘walk up’ and group tours
Craft beer fans can now witness first-hand the meticulous dedication, unrivalled passion and pure craftsmanship behind the brewing of their favourite Purity beers as the brewery launches ‘walk up’ tours at Upper Spernall Farm in the heart of the Warwickshire countryside.
The brewery is easy to access, located just 15 minutes from Stratford upon Avon and only half an hour from Birmingham. It is also a mecca for cyclists thanks to the abundance of stunning routes which lead to the farm. So no reason not to visit…easy to get to, the opportunity to go on a guided tour and the chance to learn all about craft beer brewing – what more could you want?
‘Walk up’ tours cost £16.50 and include a beer tasting at the end and a complimentary glass. Tours run every Saturday, starting at 11:00am. Tickets can be bought online at the all new www.puritybrewing.com or can be bought on the day in the brewery shop, which now stocks an extended range of beers and is now open from 10.00am – 4.00pm.
In addition to the new ‘walk up’ tours, Purity’s group tours still take place every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, catering for groups of 10 – 20 people. Group tours must be booked in advance and are ideal for team events. Group tours can also be combined with the use of Purity’s fantastic meeting room, ideal for business meetings and lunches. The brewery offers free parking, break out rooms, a 70inch TV screen and full HDMI facilities.
On the tours you will find out about the sourcing of hops and grain, the excitement around the craft beer scene and the stories behind the brands Mad Goose, Pure UBU and Longhorn IPA.
Accompanied by Purity expert John Conod, guests will get a unique insight into the art of craft brewing and into Purity’s ‘Pure Eco’ credentials and a close look at their special Wetland System which allows the brewery to filter and purify waste water and return it to the water course.
So whether you’re a group of enthusiasts interested in the craft beer scene, a business party, one of the growing number of passionate Purity fans or a keen cyclist looking to add another stop on your ride at the weekend, a look behind the scenes and a beer or two with likeminded Puritans could be just what the doctor ordered.
“The brewery tours are a fabulous opportunity for us to further engage with our customers and our brilliant fans”, said Paul Halsey MD at Purity, “as well as showing people how the brewery works and how craft beer is made.
“For businesses, it’s an opportunity to combine a tour with a meeting or function or somewhere to take that client for an afternoon or enjoy some team building.
“And whether it is for business or pleasure, the brewery offers visitors the chance to understand the other things we are passionate about here at Purity.”
