Truman’s Brewery launches a summer of Yard parties
Truman’s Brewery, East London’s beer since 1666, will open its doors to drinkers on the first Friday of every month throughout summer 2015.
The first Yard Party will launch on Friday 1st May from 5:30-10pm and will be a chance to celebrate the success of the brewery since it re-opened in 2013 with the Truman’s team and friends.
Truman’s brewery in Hackney Wick, The Eyrie, is just across the river from the Olympic Stadium and boasts ample space both inside and out.
• Drinks: Full selection of Truman’s ales on cask and keg, as well as a few special seasonal surprises. Beer to take way will also be available.
• Food: The cooks amongst the team will also be firing up the BBQ and serving a selection of hot grilled foods to satisfy drinkers and compliment the beers.
• Games: There will be darts, skittles and whatever shenanigans we can dream up on the night.
• Tours: There will also be free brewery tours running during the evening which guests should sign up for upon arrival.
James Morgan, Managing Director at Truman’s comments “We have such a great space here at Hackney Wick that it seems a shame to not share it regularly with the drinking public. We will put on the show in proper Truman’s style, so come and enjoy our beer in the best condition possible, meet the team for a chat, and enjoy some great food and music. We can’t wait to get the summer started, whatever the weather!”
The Yard Parties will run on the first Friday evenings of the month throughout summer from 5:30-10pm – 5th June, 3rd July, 7th August and 4th September.
Entry is free and beers will be priced from £3.
