Brewology Celebrate Successful First Year
It’s been a busy first year for Leeds based start up Brewology. Not only has the company completed an award winning, brew-house project for brewing giant C&C group but also a major brewhouse automation project for Freedom Brewery as well as designing and manufacturing a brand new range of Keg and Cask machines.
Their impressive customer base includes some of the largest breweries in the country as well as fellow start up breweries and the smaller local breweries looking to expand. Managing Director David Midgley says, “We work hard for the small breweries, we know what it’s like to be a start up company and we want to help them grow. They are the future big breweries and future repeat business, which is key for us.”
Early on, Brewology realised the need for a nationwide service team and have now established service teams in the south and the north of the country, with Scotland to follow in the near future. “Having service teams available around the country means we can offer a faster cheaper, local, UK based service. All our teams are trained to work on not just our own machines but numerous other brewery equipment manufacturers’,” says David.
Brewology’s state-of-the-art Yorkshire based manufacturing workshop includes brand new CNC machining equipment and fabrication facilities. David says, “Having a fully kitted out machine shop means we are manufacturing in-house, giving us control over quality and production. It also means we can take on fun, bespoke projects like the parts we made for one of the race cars that took part in the famous Harewood Hill Climb.”
Brewology’s second year is set to go from strength to strength as they already have a strong order and enquiry book. David is happy with the company’s steady growth and says he is looking forward to the challenges that a year two start up will bring. He adds, “We are lucky to have a great team of staff behind us, as well as wonderful customers and suppliers. We are so grateful for all the support the industry has shown us and look forward many more years of helping to produce and drink great beer!”
