WPA Pinfold WIN a Brand Impact Award.
WPA Pinfold have won a Computer Arts Brand Impact award in the Wine, Beer and Sprits category for their design of the Thwaites Crafty Dan range.
The Brand Impact awards were set up by Computer Arts to recognise and celebrate creative excellence and brand consistency across a wealth of different disciplines.
WPA Pinfold have won overall in the Wine, Beer and Spirits category for their brand design of Daniel Thwaites Crafty Dan beer range.
The creation of the Crafty Dan range is Thwaites’ answer to the American craft beer revolution that has hit our shores. These beers are bolder, with bigger flavours – yet, ironically, are based on traditional English ale styles. Each design has a clear definition of its beer style (which is a key communicator for today’s more experimental drinkers) and supporting copy emphasises the more challenging ingredients and flavours.
This is the 6th award Crafty Dan has won; each one further reinforcing WPA Pinfold’s overarching ethos of effective design.
“Craft is all about putting the art into artisanship and creating great beers that differentiate themselves from the mass produced alternatives. In the USA, craft brewers have recognised the power of the brand to help them take on presiding market forces. This has been instrumental in making some of the now classic craft brands famous.” Myles Pinfold, Founder and Director of Strategy and Planning, WPA Pinfold.
