Hallidays win ‘Marketing Firm of the Year’, after a surprise nomination from 2020 Innovation
Last night at the 2020 Innovation Awards Hallidays received a surprise nomination for ‘Marketing Firm of the Year’ and won. Hallidays Directors attending the award ceremony were bowled over by the award which is recognition of Hallidays investment in Marketing over the past 10 years. The 2020 Innovation Awards honour the success and achievements within the accounting profession, focusing on innovation and creativity.
Managing Director, Nigel Bennett said,
“Wow! Hallidays have won a few awards but that is the first time we have won an award we didn’t know we had been entered for. I guess that is indicative of why we won it.
I know Hallidays have been delivering for many years but we are a firm of accountants and we weren’t great at explaining to people how we REALLY ARE different and that our purpose of ‘Support and Growth’ (formulated by our team) isn’t just words – it is what we live by. Accountants are introverted self-effacing people – luckily for us marketing people aren’t so inhibited. 😉 Fantastic job Marketing Team!”
Jane Bennett joined Hallidays over 10 years ago at which time Hallidays were relying on their long standing history since 1843. The introduction of customer surveys and acting on the feedback was a key development in ensuring customer satisfaction. Hallidays also survey their team members monthly because they know if the team are happy clients will be. They have continued with this policy and share this feedback on their website. A more recent development is surveying their new customers to ensure they have met their client expectations early on in their relationship. Hallidays latest quarterly customer satisfactions scores show how hard they work support their clients and help them grow.
Over 10 years ago Hallidays started business development events to provide businesses with the tools they need to grow. Initially the growth events involved a lot of hard work and continuous improvements but soon resulted in Hallidays largest meeting room overflowing with businesses and the events receiving their own branding as ‘Business AM’. The feedback from clients shows how much value they are receiving from these and what they take away to improve and grow both themselves and their businesses. Our next event takes place on Tuesday 24th November, focusing on ‘What Drives Growth?’ and is free for first time attendees. For further details please see http://www.hallidays.co.uk/events
Hallidays website http://www.hallidays.co.uk/ provides a wide range of blogs and success stories to support people with managing and growing their businesses. They are currently expanding their use of social media to communicate and keep up to date with their clients and the business communities, using Twitter, Google+ and LinkedIn.
Another way Hallidays help their clients to grow is through their ‘Business One Page Plan’ which gives a monthly overview of the key performance information to transform business profits; making it easy for businesses to monitor their success and take action to improve their performance and grow when they need to. Hallidays team members (without their directors involvement) developed their mission, vision, values and from this they coalesced everything Hallidays is about into two words ‘Support and Growth’. This is what their team believe we are about and is embedded in everything they do.
