Perthshire Brewery’s Beer-illiant Success at SIBA Awards
Inveralmond Brewery, one of Scotland’s leading craft beer producers, are celebrating after their award winning portfolio of bottled beers swept up once again in 5 out of the 15 categories at the recent SIBA Scotland Regional awards.
The Brewery claimed two victories for their runaway success, The Inspiration Series Rascal London Porter, with a Bronze in Small Pack and Silver in overall Porters, Stouts, Old Ales, Strong Milds & Strong Brown Ales category. A successful year for Rascal, which has also seen it crowned Champion Beer at the World’s Biggest Ale Festival run by JD Wetherspoons before it had officially been launched earlier this year.
More success came in the Premium Bitter & Pale Ales category, which saw Lia Fail take the Silver, as well as a Bronze, for Fair Maid in the Standard Bitters & Pale Ales. Sunburst, the first in The Inspiration Series, also took the Silver in Premium Lagers & Pilsners.
The news has been received well by Bob Hogg, commercial director of Inveralmond Brewery who commented:
“It has been another strong result for Inveralmond at this year’s SIBA awards and we’re thrilled to have been recognised in five different categories. It’s great to see our Inspiration Series Rascal London Porter and Sunburst picking up three awards and our new 2015 release Fair Maid as well as an customer favourite Lia Fail also bringing in a win. It’s been a great success all round!”
