Saxon Packaging Proud to Win 'Supplier Associate of the Year'
by Saxon Packaging
Last week our Managing Director Paul King and Sales Director Mike Impson were delighted to be awarded (on behalf of Saxon) SIBA’s Supplier Associate of the Year Award.
“The whole of Saxon Packaging are over the moon to win this award, the fact this is a ‘members voted’ category makes it more special and we have developed some great relationships since joining SIBA early in 2015. We received some fantastic testimonials from existing SIBA members and we hope to grow this further over the coming years.
As an independent company ourselves, we recognise the help and advice that is often required when businesses start up and we enjoy assisting the breweries develop and promote their brand through their packaging.
We have been in business 30 years this March and winning this award in such a competitive market means an awful lot to all who work at Saxon Packaging.” Mike Impson, Sales Director, Saxon Packaging.
We have been a member of SIBA since January 2015 and have a large number of tried and tested packs that are currently in use by over 50 SIBA members. Since joining SIBA we have seen the volume of enquiries increasing on a weekly basis and we expect the number of members who buy from us to continue to grow. We are also finding that SIBA members want to deal and buy from companies who know the industry well and we have the confidence to provide this service.
With an existing library of cutting tools that cover the majority of beer packaging requirements for cans, bottles, mini-kegs, polypins and demi-pins, this allows us to provide tried and tested solutions for gift packs, mail-order and transit packs; saving SIBA members both time and money as there are no expensive set-up costs.
A handful of SIBA members who are also our customers, have been kind enough to say some words on their relationship and experience with us (see below):
“We have been using Saxon Packaging for a few years now and have always found the quality of their products and their service to be excellent. We continue to receive many compliments on our presentation packs particularly. The team at Saxon understands our needs perfectly and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to any brewery looking to fulfil its packaging needs.” Claire Ashbridge-Thomlinson, Director, East London Brewing Company.
“Meeting Saxon Packaging was a master stroke. Creatively they’re turned on which not only helps with the process but they also suggest and bring great ideas to the table.” Rich Norgate, Magic Rock Design
“We are incredibly pleased with the finished product. The packaging reflects the design and does a great service to the beer within!” Doreen Joy Barber, Communication, Events & Marketing Manager, The Five Points Brewing Company.
“The cartons provide a great quality point of sale tool for retailers and have encouraged sales of full cases which has been great for us and the retailers. The brand impact has also helped raise our profile on-trade where staff can easily identify our stock in cellars making it an easy go-to for restocking.” Dan Lowe, Fourpure Brewing Co.
“We have worked with Saxon for a number of years. Their work is always of a high quality, delivered on time, and with expert consultancy along the way.” Bruce Ash, Beer Sommelier and Head Brewer, Woodforde’s Norfolk Ales
“Saxon packaging have been a trusted supplier at Adnams for many years, they offer a fantastic service. The cartons are consistently high quality and they are proactive in suggesting new designs and options to help grow our business. They have a friendly and flexible approach which we have found very easy to work with and we have no hesitation in recommending them” Fergus Fitzgerald, Head Brewer, Adnams plc.
We are always looking at ways we can support SIBA members and provide extra value to their packaging. The award we have won demonstrates our commitment and the service we provide to SIBA’s members and we look forward to continued growth among the members.
