£200,000 Investment in Black Wolf Brewery
An investment of £200,000 is being made in Black Wolf Brewery to provide the brewery with a new state of the art bottling line. The brewery is buying the line from Cime Careddu, a long established Italian manufacturer, through Willis European Limited (www.williseuropean.com) who are their sole UK agents.
The new bottling facility will have the capacity to bottle all of Black Wolf Brewery’s beers, and the intention is to contract bottle for other small to medium sized brewers and drinks manufacturers. The line will be in place in April 2016.
The new bottling line will enable beer and other products to retain the highest quality during the bottling process. Bottling at Black Wolf Brewery will be carried out under stringent hygiene conditions, and the beer will be sterilised using micro filters to ensure the flavours carefully created in the brewing process are maintained. The new line is equipped with double pre evacuation to further guarantee the quality of the bottled product.
The line will be able to bottle small to medium quantities of beer, and use different packaging sizes and formats, giving the brewery much greater flexibility in the range of beers which can be produced.
Andrew Richardson, a Director of Black Wolf Brewery, said “This is a big investment for us which will transform our business. It will give us far greater flexibility so that we can produce different speciality beers, or beers to celebrate big events like the Olympics, or indeed for customers who want their own beer. We also intend to use this facility to bottle for others in the drinks industry.”
Black Wolf Brewery (www.blackwolfbrewery.com) is a craft brewery located in Throsk, near Stirling. The brewery produces a range of award winning beers in cask, keg and bottle, which are sold throughout Scotland and are exported around the world.
