Bath Ales’ Rare Hare Bounces Back This Easter
Independent brewer Bath Ales has re-introduced Rare Hare, the strongest beer in the Bath Ales portfolio, just in time for the Easter holidays.
Available in-store and on tap from 25th March, Rare Hare is set to live up to its name with pre-orders sales already rising fast.
A smooth premium beer that is full in flavour and dry and clean on the palate, Rare Hare makes unscheduled appearances in the Bath Ales’ brewing calendar and is only available in limited quantities.
First developed by Bath Ales’ head brewer in 2002, the chestnut beer offers cask lovers a dry, bitter taste with a hint of caramel and an aroma that is topped off with toffee notes.
Gerry Condell, head brewer at Bath Ales, said: “The appeal of Rare Hare lies in its smooth taste and each time it is released it proves very popular with our customers.
“The limited availability of Rare Hare, as well as its delicious taste, means that it is highly anticipated before it hits the pumps.”
Rare Hare packs a punch at 5.2% ABV and the special 2013 brew can be purchased in 500 ml bottles online at www.bathales.com or in Bath Ales’ new shop at Hare House HQ in Warmley. Rare Hare is also available in cask across Bath Ales’ pub estate and in other venues across the South West while stocks last.
