Microdat awarded contract for new C&C Group Brewery in Ireland
Leeds based Microdat, the UK’s leading brewing and manufacturing company, have been awarded the contract to build a new 100hl brewing facility and all associated ancillary items to their existing site in Clonmel, Ireland. Work on the brew house will begin immediately with final commissioning due to be completed in Spring 2014.
The project will be delivered on a turnkey basis through Microdat’s proven low cost partnership programme. Microdat will work closely alongside the team at C&C Group to provide full upfront 3D designs & PID documentation, vessel procurement, process and utility pipework modules, electrical installation, software design and implementation right through to commissioning production trials.
The new facility will give C&C Group the ability to both brew and package lager’s, ale’s, stout’s and malted beverages for the first time at they’re existing cider production facilities in Ireland. Once built the plant will operate in accordance to C&C’s Industry leading environmental & sustainability policies to provide high levels of energy efficiencies throughout.
Microdat are proud to be working along side one of the UK and Ireland’s largest Beer and Cider manufactures on this unique project.
